Even though Nasa is a science based organization, they often name things based on mythology and religion. Not an entirely new photo, but beautiful and awe inspiring... the Eye of God.
Now, new from then Chandra X-ray telescope... the Hand of God.
Something we have been observing for over 20 years on Saturn... the Hexagon. Incredible to see something so geometric and constant. Also, we have no other examples of this phenomenon. I'm sure the more we search our universe and gain in or understanding of quantum mechanics we will come up with an explanation for this.
Mind boggling...
